Kim Novak starred in the biopic Jeanne Eagles in 1957. Her co-star was rugged Jeff Chandler. It is one of Miss Novak’s sexiest movie parts.

Adele Jergens (1917-2002) was under contract to Rita Hayworth’s studio Columbia in the forties. She played the lead in B-movies and had co-starring roles in A films (including Rita’s Down to Earth, 1947). In the fifties she played a lot of great roles in several memorable B-movies with titles like Blonde Dynamite, Girls in Prison, Runaway Daughters, The Day the World Ended. She was the lead in When a Girl’s Beautiful, 1947 (in which Joi Lansing had a small part) and played Marilyn Monroe’s mother in Ladies of the Chorus, 1948.
